A white linen heart with red and blue outlined seam lines and decorated with the characteristic blue and red wooden plaques. This piece is based on the "Seven Ore Mountains" collection by the design duo Eva Howitz and Frieder Weissbach. This collection is inspired by the woodcarving tradition of the Ore Mountains, whose characteristic colors are white, blue, and red.
This collectible is unique and was made exclusively for the Berlin Design Week 2022. For the collaboration, the Aufschnitt designer Silvia worked the heart cushion in the berlin Aufschnitt studio from white linen. She was supported in the material research by the design studio 2020untainted. The finished filled heart was then sent to designer Eva Howitz where she hand painted and designed it.
