Silvia's story
Silvia's Story: The designer behind Aufschnitt, founder and managing director Silvia Wald, studied clothing technology in Berlin until 2007. In 2008, she founded the studio for pattern making and model making called Aufschnitt. Aufschnitt Berlin was invented as a play on words combining the word Schnittkonstruktion (pattern making), the basis for creating clothing, and the butcher's term Aufschnitt (cut meat). [...]
