Blood sausage is one of the oldest types of sausage in the world. Hardly any region can do without it. In the Rhineland, it's served alongside potatoes and applesauce with Himmel un Ääd (a traditional dish of mashed potatoes and applesauce). In Berlin, it's known as Tote Oma (Dead Grandma). In Spain, it's called Morcilla, and in England, Black Pudding. Dark, spicy, and authentic: it's pure butcher's tradition.
Our sausage necklace perfectly captures this character. The supple Lycra casing is a deep, dark burgundy. Filled with polyester fiber, it's soft but not too plump. It feels good in the hand and drapes beautifully when hung up.
